I wanted to get a good 1080p monitor that didn’t take up too much space on my desktop and didn't cost me an arm and a leg. The Acer G7 21.5” fit within my budget. I liked the near zero bezel on it. It looks pretty sleek. The screen is is bright. The 1920×1080 resolution works well for me. I may grab another one later on and do a multi-monitor Eyefinity setup.

I was recently moving stuff and noticed I had a Sony Home Theater Dream system in storage. I figured that I could use it with my gaming PC for Dolby 5.1 surround sound. I easily hooked it up to my PC using an optical cable to the optical output on my Sapphire Pure Black 990FX motherboard.

Gaming never looked and sounded so good!
