Sweet! I went with 8GB RAM for now cause I'm gonna cannibalize 8 from my other rig that current has 24GB (16GB Gamer and 8GB Performance) for 16GB in this.

When I can, I'm gonna get another 16GB Gamer Series RAM and take the 16GB from my existing rig to make 32GB.

I didn't know AMD made SSDs. Are the rebranded or manufactured by them?

    They are made by OCZ

Benedict, what the heck do you do that you get these awesome components?

  7. Benedict Corpuz October 2, 2014 at 22:23 - Reply

+Benjamin Goddard I actually got these myself. But other components are provided to me because I am an AMD RedTeam+ Member. We are a group of AMD Advocates.

+Nikhil M They are also the fastest SSDs on the market right now — toppling Samsung's drives.

Hey, it's you and your powerful hardware again…

+christopher gonzalez Would you be a kind soul and connect that FX-6300 to World Community Grid when you get it? I find it saddening that only a minority of PC gamers connect their powerful CPUs to the grid to help solve real world problems when it only takes a few minutes of their time to set up.

+Michael Murphy well I would but care to explain what that is exactly ?

+Michael Murphy maybe it's like a distributed computing system. Like Folding at home

Check this link for distributed computing. It really is a great way to put your PC to good use when you aren't using it. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/10-ways-to-donate-your-cpu-time-to-science/
