A PC build is ever ongoing. Things are always changing and technology gets better.
I went ahead and played with both cards in this system and decided to upgraded my Tahiti based crossfire setup to the R9 290X Hawaii based GPU.
The PowerColor TurboDuo R9 290X features 4GB of GDDR5 RAM, an engine clock of 1000mhz, and 4K support. It also features Eyefinity, one of my favorite features.
I am also excited to use the AMD HD3D technology. More on that on a later post.
Gaming is even better with this feature filled GPU.

Nice, you got the sale for 450?
Nice!! Are you going to get a second one to push all three monitors, methinks you'll need it. I have one trix R9 290 and overclocked it performs better than the stock powercolor 290x and at 5760 x 1080 on ultra bf4 2xmsaa i'm getting 45-60 fps depending on the map.
I want to get a second one. I'm getting 35fps on Ultra and 45fps on High at 5760×1080 with Battlefield 4 on the triple monitor setup.
Cool I Work For AMD
+Benedict Corpuz have you overclocked it yet? +iamApropos didn't have the best of luck with his.
