Foursquare Badges are dusty, but still there!
The excitement of the new update to Swarm by Foursquare had me too busy playing with stickers on my check-ins and pictures that I didn’t delve too much into the app. Boy was I in for a surprise.Earlier today, +Amanda Blain pointed out to me that clicking on the map on your profile screen shows you how many places and countries you’ve checked in. It’s then broken down by number of check ins per country. The map even visualizes where you have checked in previously.Since the Foursquare check-ins moved to Swarm, I’ve forgotten about my badges. There was a small reminder during this update when transmuting the badges to stickers. The biggest surprise was finding the HIDDEN DOOR way below the stickers. Tapping the hidden door brings you to a dusty, long neglected place, your badge case! It’s been a while since I’ve seen my Foursquare badges. I can tell you stories about how I wanted many of the special ones.
The new Swarm update made it more fun again, and this new revelation shows me why I didn’t stop checking in. Now go find your badges!
